Terms of sale
Plain terms for a simple product: you buy coins, you spend them on a square. Read the three lines about coins — they are the ones that matter.
1. Who you are buying from

VAT not applicable — Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI). Prices are shown in US dollars and are the amount charged.
2. Coins
Coins are the unit the board runs on. One coin is worth $0.01 when you buy them, and that is the only moment money is involved. Everything after that is coins.
Coins are non-refundable. Once purchased, a coin is not exchanged back into money for any reason, including a change of mind, a listing you no longer want, or an account you stop using.
Coins cannot be withdrawn. They are not a balance you can cash out, transfer to another person, or move to another service. They have no value outside this site.
Coins are spendable only on Screenwar. Their sole use is buying and growing squares on this board. They are not a payment method, not a currency, and not an investment.
Because coins can only ever be spent here and never converted back, they are not electronic money and confer no claim on the operator beyond the ability to use them on this board.
3. Right of withdrawal
Coins are digital content supplied immediately. By completing a purchase you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that otherwise applies to distance selling, in line with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
This does not affect your rights if the service is faulty. If coins you paid for are not credited, write to us and we will fix it.
4. What you get for your coins
- A Wall cell for 100 coins: a fixed square in the bottom strip, always the same size, which does not shrink as the board grows.
- A war-zone square from 500 coins: an area equal to your stake divided by the total pot. It grows when you pay and shrinks whenever anyone else pays. That dilution is the product working as described, not a fault.
- A ticker of one to three letters, held for as long as your listing stands.
Coins spent to grow a square — yours or anyone else's — are an irrevocable contribution to that square's position. They give no ownership of it, no control over its link, and no claim against its owner.
5. Listings we refuse
Every listing is checked before it goes live. We refuse sexual content, hate speech or hate symbolism, harassment, illegal goods, malware, scams, link shorteners, and chat or group invites.
A refused listing is refunded in full, in coins, and its ticker is released. We may also remove a listing that becomes non-compliant after publication, on the same terms.
Your link and ticker are locked once approved. Changing either means a new submission that is checked again.
6. Availability
This is a side project running on shared infrastructure. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may pause purchases and moves at any time — the board stays readable when we do. We may close the site permanently; coins remaining at that point are not refunded, which is the direct consequence of section 2.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protections of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may use the European online dispute resolution platform.
